XLIM’s EP. 8 collection revolves around the theme of “beauty after the bloom,” representing the refined and balanced spirit the brand is known for. Moving away from the colorful vibrancy of EP. 7's summer, designer Dohee Kim offers a more subdued and sophisticated vision for Fall.
Reflecting the metaphor within its title “After the Bloom,” XLIM introduces a matured sense of style. A highlight from the season is the vintage-finished black leather coat, paired with a cream Western hat constructed in panels. Many outerwear pieces feature a blank patch detail on their neckline, symbolizing XLIM’s deconstructed design language.
Color is used only sparingly, such as with the peach-gradient jacket and pants, or an aqua headscarf. Contrastingly, the black-and-white looks showcase XLIM’s focus on silhouettes and details — including oversized patch pockets on washed denim and collared leather jackets. Layering remains key, as seen in all-black ensembles featuring knitwear, hooded denim, down puffers, gloves, and shades. The debut of a lightweight Detroit jacket blending leather and cotton is a standout.
The first drop has arrived at the Hyundai Seoul XLIM Store and via the official XLIM website (xlim.link), while the second release is scheduled for September 27, 2025.
